New leggings - damaged - would you take them back?

New leggings cost around £30

Work for the first time today

Noticed at least two bits where there is thread coming out of them / they have been snagged with something?

Can I just cut them off or will they get holes in? It's a faff to take them back but they were not super cheap flimsy leggings so I don't want them to fall apart immediately

Don't cut them off. I'd take them back

Yogaandcocoa · 18/11/2021 19:44

I might do. It just annoying as the shop's an hour away

And I got these after returning something else (not faulty) so that's what's making me question taking these back

But they were not super cheap leggings!

Take them back without touching them.

I've had cheaper leggings that haven't done that.

What brand/shop are they from so I can avoid?

Pheasantlysurprised · 18/11/2021 21:24

for £30? Yes. Take back.

At £30 a pair I would take them back

Yogaandcocoa · 19/11/2021 11:57

I think I will take them back

I actually wore them today thinking they might be ok but I was sitting in baby and toddler group with my legs straight out and those two bits about a cm long looked so scruffy

They are going back!

I haven't washed them though, maybe better not to...

Do I have to take them back within a certain time (normal returns are 14 days) but I'm next in the city is in nearly three weeks

Obviously the sooner the better but I don't really want to drive an hour just to sort these

Yes, I'd take them back but I bet they'll say you've snagged them on something.

If you are keeping them, don't snip the snagged thread off - push a needle most of the way through and then thread the snag through the eye and pull to the inside of the leggings. This will at least hide them.

Yogaandcocoa · 19/11/2021 12:34

Well if I've snagged them it was pretty easy to do but I don't think so
