Boots - give me a foundation and primer

Haven't worn makeup in two years since having my child and have a wedding to go to on Saturday, first time out in a long time due to PNA so desperately trying to make myself feel like I don't look a pile of rubbish

Just opened my makeup bag and ended up dumping everything in there, no longer useable

I am looking for a foundation and primer I can get easily in boots, at budget prices (£20 each max) that will still look decent on.

I have very pale skin and sometimes the palest colours look a bit Orange on me

Prefer full coverage as I have some discoloration I don't want to have to worry about people seeing

Have wierd skin that sometimes gets oily and flaky and dry all at the same time

Any recommendations please?

Can't recommend a primer as I don't use one but for foundation N07 hydraluminous is fab. There was a thread about it on here a while back which led me to buying it and I love it.

I love the Revlon photoready primer, I'm also very pale with combination skin.

I like niveaday cream
I am
Very pale and it's not too orange if I mix with foundation

Max factor do some nice primers, I have a green colour correction one which is nice to wear without foundation.

If I was you and not a regular make up user , I'd ask the number 7 girls for a sample of something like the hydra luminous or intelligent range to match your skin

Use that for the night out , if you like it go back and buy , if not , at least you had your face on for the night ?

I second the Revlon photo ready primer. If it’s a big boots they should have IT cosmetics CC cream which I swear by. Personally I find the palest shades of No 7 are still far too orange. L’Oréal do a new serum foundation - maybe go for that and get a pressed powder for staying power.

I’m like Casper and the best foundation for me is the L’Oréal hyaluronic one in Ivory, it’s the best shade for pale skin and lasts ages. Not sure on primer as I use the benefit blue tube and not sure if all boots stock it.
