The perfect long-sleeved top

I’m looking for recs as I can’t keep buying stuff and sending it back…

I’m looking for a comfortable long-sleeved top, jersey, nice and long, not too baggy or clingy, has anyone found this?

I just bought a lovely looking striped top from and/or but it was too short and I don’t want to have to keep pulling it down to cover my massive pot belly

I like lands end long sleeved tops. Might be a bit clingy but if your looking for jersey type they all will all cling a bit only a blouse style won't cling at all, but there a good length so don't ride up and wash well.

I was going to suggest Lands End as well! I have a couple, still look good after lots of washing and the body and sleeves are nice and long.

I got mine from H and M. 12.99

I have returned Boden ( horrible and see through, weird fit) and Seasalt that shrank in the wash)

H and M are the dogs bollocks.

I like Esprit for basic long sleeve tops. I have a few and they all wash well.

Seasalt are too short. The only good ones I've found in ages were Jigsaw and they seem to have stopped doing those particular ones. It's infuriating! Surely such a thing shouldn't be so hard to find?

The H&M ones were too clingy for me and the elastane content made them a bit sweaty.

M&S ones go at the neck, and become shorter and wider after a couple of washes.

I've got one from Arket, but the neckline is too high. Good quality though and washes well.

I like gap modern boatneck or modern crewneck tops. They come in tall too so fab for me at 5ft10 and disproportionately long in the torso
