In my quest to cover up dark circles I've come across this and
about to buy some online but unsure about the colours, I've got olive skin and thought shade 04.
Any experts out there?

Sorry I'm a different shade to you but just wanted to let you know It's quite a thick texture in case that's not what you're looking for.

Thanks @PingedPotato, the thickness is what appealed, my usual corrector/ concealer wears off so quickly. Do you rate it?

I do for those days when I want more coverage. I put it on the back of my hand and warm it up a bit with my finger.

For dark circles I picked up this tip from a drag queen- use a pink base to neutralise the blue/ grey

So I use benefit Erase Paste first then mac concealer in my skin shade over the top . Works amazing.

I used to use Boi-ing to conceal a port wine stain, I'm not sure it would work on dark circles as it's sooo thick. I know you said that appeals but I imagine it would just settle in every fine line around your eyes. I actually swapped away from it even on my birthmark as it was so thick, I now use Hourglass Airbrush. But I don't have dark circles so can't help there.

You need a corrector not a concealer. Wear it under foundation

I use the 01 shade, I don’t find it too thick for under eyes, just needs blending in. It’s a great product but I guess doesn’t come in as many shades as some concealers which must be problematic for some.

Jota67 · 18/11/2021 08:56

I also think it's very thick and not flattering undereye.

I find Tarte or NARS much better with good coverage.

Cheerbear24 · 20/11/2021 00:32

I use it for roseacea breakouts - it’s very heavy duty stuff!!
The texture doesn’t spread easily, there’s a lot more lightweight but effective stuff these days that would work for under eyes.

Is this the benefit one

I bought it and it was rubbish

I still prefer good old Collection concealer which is cheap as and works brilliantly

ambereeree · 20/11/2021 08:05

Its really thick and difficult to use.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 20/11/2021 08:08

I use the lightest shade. I like it but you have to warm it up a bit.

Thanks all. I'd already ordered it before I read the negatives.
Unless it's the perfect shade I'll send it back unopened and continue my quest.
I'm mid 50s, olive skin with hereditary dark circles and have spent a fortune on false promises.
The Tarte looks good but postage is so high.
