Curling tongs- 12yo DD fine hair

My DD has hair like mine: a lot of it but fine. My hair would never hold a curl, suspect hers won’t either but she is desperate for a curling tong or similar.
Is anyone able to recommend something with low likelihood of burning her hands/hair/our house down and also that might work on her type of hair.

Thank you! Yes I did look at that but wondered the manual dexterity required for Babyliss. Assumed GHD technique probably too tricky for 12yo? Or at least too much risk of carpets being scorched!
