What is the most wonderful price of clothing you've seen lately?

I have some cash but nothing stupid money or high designer. I've been loosing weight and on track to be 2 stone down by Christmas. I'll still be loosing but want something really nice to aspire to in say a 14 that I can use as motivation to keep the weight loss up. I've never been able to shop in places like all saints/ Reiss etc and probably loads of other places. Just after something beautiful to aspire to really.

Hit me with your ideas please. Halo

My weight loss porn was Karen Millen. I really want one of their close fitting dresses, perhaps a denim one, and in the spring I'll get one. I'll go into the shop in our nearest large town and know that there will be such pleasure in looking at the dresses and thinking they will fit. Even if i decide they don't suit me after the trying on I will have had the enjoyment and satisfaction of knowing I could wear it if I wanted to.

I'm thinking of this for my Christmas dress. What do you think? Working our around £88 with discount codes.

No idea but just wanted to say well done op. Id prob go for jewellery as you get to wear that with everything and still when you lose more weight. Agree with PP about a shopping day to try clothes on too.

I'm so excited at the prospect of going shopping in person. I'm booking a day off in December to do some Christmas shopping and buy a new outfit. I want to look nice at Christmas. I've had to order some emergency jeans online and a couple of tops to keep me going as what I'm wearing is really starting to look baggy.

I have a couple of old dresses that I love so despite them not fitting I couldn't bear to throw them out, so they've been sitting at the bottom of my wardrobe for years. I got them both out at the weekend and they fitted Grin chuffed to say the least.

Sorry to break it to you @ExConstance but Karen Millen shops have all closed in the U.K. They’re only available online now ☹️

Do you have Sandro and Maje stores in the UK? I find their stuff quite special and am currently filling my wardrobe with it piece by piece.

What about a personal shopper experience to get something which is very flexible and wearable? Personal shoppers seem to be good at this sort of thing

I have just bought the Bianca blouse in both ivory and black from Sezane. Beautiful, comes up big

babyboyHarrison · 17/11/2021 09:19

Not sure how to tag people. Personal shopper sounds like a fab idea. I'll book something when I'm a bit closer to my goal weight. Weight loss is still going well so feeling very positive about it. Sezane looks beautiful, Sandro and Maje look a bit out of my price range. I'm liking the look of this reiss dress but think I'd need to see it in person.

I will just have to go to Reiss then, another shop full of tiny dresses that I'm sure I can now fit into!
