Thank you for the new dress love. It’s beautiful isn’t it? I hope a classic that I will wear for a long time. Maybe soon(?) I will be able to wear it out of the house!

Navy long sleeved round neck lands end top under a red Boucle 1 button jacket and with a silver fern leaf necklace.

Navy hobbs classic straight trousers and black flat shoes.

Was due in the office today (hence no jeans) but now retreating upstairs again due to changes in deadlines. I'll go in later in the week instead.

Brora Merino jumper, Ocre, with Boden subdued check mini kilt, Wills vegan brown lace up boots and a Brora scarf.

Jumper - Hush. It's the same as the one @OublietteBravo has and I think @EllaPaella as well, with a bit of sparkle in it. It doesn't really show in the photo.

@EllaPaella a bit nippy then! Such a buzz though - I’ve missed it this winter. The Bluetits have been fab here for getting people together and in the water.

Nice Hush jumper - I don't have it but did try it on a couple of years ago with the bright pink satin skirt, lovely jumper and I love the sparkle!
@CaterpillaNavilla I've heard of the bluetits, not sure we have them here but we do have several other swimming groups.

What does everyone think of this red shirt? I never feel great in shirts I bought it years ago and never wear it.

@Softpebbles DH does. He isn't even front line but has spent this week trying to sort out the mess caused by Sunday's announcement. He is utterly knackered and stressed and at the end of his tether. He says lots of colleagues are putting in for redundancy or early retirement. He may have to cancel next week's leave . It sounds horrendous

@Sickoffamilydrama - I like the shirt. But if you have doubts then I’d take it out of your wardrobe and see if you miss it. I find this a useful way of working out what to keep and what to get rid of.

@Sooverthemill - I’m feeling a bit achy today (I suspect this is because I had my covid booster yesterday). I have 2 more working days to go, and then I’m off until 10 January. I’m desperately finishing things off and trying to get far enough ahead on my diary list.

WFH today as I have so many Teams meetings. I’m not entirely sure the nice work dress works with Docs, but I really want warm feet.

@Sooverthemill It sounds horrendous for your husband and for you. I took early retirement in 2014 because the latest cuts in funding at that time were going to negatively impact patient care so much that I felt that I couldn’t ethically deliver what management required. To add the problems caused by Covid into the mix sounds intolerable 😢

I have read and watched your threads for a long time but have not posted before.

I'm vowing to do better with posting on here over Christmas. I've fallen into a bit of a rut of leggings most days so not had much to post. I'm feeling really knackered atm and very much looking forward to the Christmas break!

I had hoped to be sharing photos of my outfit for a wedding last weekend (I did post the dress on here a while ago) but DS started vomiting on Thursday night and we were due to fly on the Friday so couldn't go, which was a real shame. Still, poor DS is fine now, which is the main thing!

Nothing exciting for me recently, but hopefully this will encourage me to get back to posting more anyway!
