Therapie cosmetic clinics, anyone tried?

Keep getting ads for these clinics which I am guessing is a franchise. A perky Martine McCutcheon promotes them. Anyone tried them? I'm interested in Botox and hair removal.

Bumping, also looking at getting Botox with them

Ooh I just saw this post now - I actually mentioned Therapie in a separate post yesterday!

Yes I’ve not long completed a course of laser hair removal with them. I don’t have anything else to compare them to, but I’m absolutely delighted with the hair removal. It has utterly and completely changed my life.

The post I put up was just mentioning their January sales which offer a few great deals.

I did consider spending the same amount of money on a lumea IPL machine but I’m glad I did the laser instead as it meant I had to go as i had paid for it, plus the effects are likely to be more long-lasting.

I do also have a referral code which would get both of us an extra £30 to spend on laser - I posted this on the bargain /referral thread yesterday.

I haven’t tried Botox so can’t comment on that but the salon itself was good. Very prompt, efficient, professional and brand new medical grade laser machines.

Thanks for the update, pleased to hear a good review.

Is this an ad?

PastelGiraffe · 11/01/2022 20:35

@IvorCutler

Is this an ad?
Does it sound like an ad? The OP asked for feedback on a product, much the same way as any other post on this board, and I gave my opinion.

Ah finally a review! I'm surprised how little feedback there is on these clinics as they seem to be everywhere. Would love to hear from anyone who has used them for Botox especially any in London as their prices are low.

I go to the therapie clinic in Watford for my laser hair removal, Botox and lip filler and I honestly cannot recommend them enough. Customer service is great, results are great. I've been to other many clinics in the past for all sorts of things from fillers, laser hair removal, microneedling, coolsculpting etc. (I'm bit of a beauty addict haha) But therapie by farrr is the best I've been to hands down. They're prices are very reasonable too. Although saying that I don't know if all the other clinics will be as good. Because I've only been to the Watford one. But whenever I call them up on the phone and need to do anything their customer service has always been A1. So yeah nothing but positive experiences in my case.

@LiveFromNewYork I have a consultation in a London clinic on Friday so I'll report back!
I'm wondering if they'll do Botox same day or if I'll have to come back, I know some places do, some don't.
It's my first time getting Botox, I've thought about it for ages and kept chickening out but I really want to look better this year so I'm going for it!

PastelGiraffe · 12/01/2022 08:43

My experience is with the Glasgow salon btw. I found the staff really professional and efficient. I would say that some are perhaps more thorough than others so if you find a consultant you like, make sure you make all of your appointments with the same person. It’s also really easy to schedule and reschedule your appointments online.

Glad to hear another positive review above as I have no frame of reference for this type of salon, but have been really pleased with it.

LiveFromNewYork · 12/01/2022 11:01

@chickenninja Thanks that would be great. I’ve had Botox a couple of times at a really expensive Harley St type place but would ideally like to find somewhere a little more reasonable - but not some bargain basement place cutting corners. Just for number 11s. The Harley St place did it same day, but no pressure.

Thought I'd report back as promised, I had an appointment for a consultation today at a London branch but ended up getting Botox in 3 areas, no messing about!
It was my first time so I've nothing to compare this too but it went really well. They want me to come back next week to see how it's working and possible top up (which is complimentary).

The consultation was free so I paid £149 for 3 areas (I got £50 off for being a new customer). I think it's normally £200.
The practice looked clean and I had to fill out a medical form online in advance.
Was seen by a dr so that was reassuring.

Didn't realise it was a big known branch until today but they had the likes of vogue and Vicky pattison on the adverts. I would recommend them but, again, I've got nothing else to compare them to.

LiveFromNewYork · 14/01/2022 23:42

Thanks @chickenninja the price seems very reasonable and glad you had a positive experience! Do you mind saying which London location you went to?

ilovetomatoes · 15/01/2022 07:47

Yes I’ve used them for Botox and was very happy with it. Had previously gone to Harley street and paid double so they are great.

It was a dentist that did mine though fyi
