Good everyday eyeshadow palettes?

Bored with my eyeshadow options and threw out a couple that were a zillion years old. Does anyone have any current favourite eyeshadow palettes recommendations? For everyday wear, I’m not an adventurous eye make up wearer!

I like Revolution. Very good pigment and lots to choose from from demure to daring.

I use Nars Suede palette every day; very versatile as well.

Urban Decay Naked palettes. Very blendable and long lasting. I also have a Stila palette I really like

Have a look at Pretty Little Things eyeshadow palettes. They are affordable and Robert Welsh (make up artist / YouTube) really loves them.

I’ve got a quite old but still going strong Zoeva Nude Spectrum palette that I love. That and UD Naked Basics 2 palette are the only eyeshadows I ever really use now.

Definitely Naked. The best.

Having said that, I'm on the lookout for just a duo because I tend to end up only wearing 2 or 3 colours.

I love the blendability of tarte eyeshadows, their ‘in bloom’ palette is lovely but they do have others

MAC do x9 pallets, they have them in a few different tones but they lean very neuteal and wearable, but with a couple of shimmery and dark shades. I have the 'burgundy' one and use it a lot. They are fairly small, which for me is convenient as the very large ones I would never make it through and would be more annoying to travel with, one downside is no mirror in it.

I have also had my eye on the Vieve eyeshadow pallet which looks great and very wearable with good reviews, but it is a fair bit larger. I haven't purchased as I have a strict one-in-one-out policy to stop myself over consuming cosmetics.

Ooh, Google just showed me it's on QVC for £2 less:

Any recommendations for grey based ones? Everything is taupe/beige/brown - awful for my skin tone

cowburp · 14/11/2021 12:12

A Pat mcgrath mothership (only buy in the sale)
Natasha denona glam is nice for cooler tones

HomerDancing · 14/11/2021 12:20

I'm on my second one of this. I absolutely love it. Can do day or night.

The Maybelline Nudes palettes are really good, versatile and wearable. I've got the Blushed Nudes version, it's the only palette intake when I'm going away as you can do anything with it, and it's helpful how the shades are paid out as duos, trios and quads in the palette.

Another vote for UD Naked palette. I have the Naked2 palette.

Though I have a Bobbi Brown palette for evening/less neutral shades.

DazzlePaintedBattlePants · 14/11/2021 13:14

You’re all complete legends, I love the S&B boards! Might go for the Tarte palette if I can’t find the Maybelline ones first.

Do agree that there’s a lot of taupe about - a grey based one would be nice too.

Natasha denona glam, there's a mini one if the bigger pallette is too much
