I thought I'd get myself a new winter coat. I was shopping with a friend and ended up buying this

It's so dull now I've got it home, I'm going to take it back but I don't know what coat to get. It felt so frumpy when I put it on but I got swept away with 25% off and my friend saying it was nice

What sort of winter coat do you need/what do you need it for? Budget? Then it’ll be easier for others to suggest what might work.
I’m guessing something warm/fairly waterproof/practical based on the Joules coat?

Joules coats aren’t my cup of tea either, I bought one once, objectively there was nothing wrong with it and I had a discount. But it was never my style. I got a puffer from CoS last year, it’s all recycled and really good quality. Water resistant enough etc. I love it.

@TuftyRusty yes warm for playground duty really and waterproof a bonus but not desperate for that!

I love that, If it was a size 22 I’d buy it. Anyone seen one like this larger ? I like the black trims .

Superdry has similar styles that are less frumpy
