They’ve just arrived. I’m going to a David Bowie recital so I thought they would be abit different. They are a sod to get on but seem to be really comfy. I don’t know how practical they will be though?

They're not awful but I wouldn't wear them. I doubt Bowie would be impressed!

Aw I just thought because my feet won’t accept heels I would get something chunky I’m sick of living in trainers they are the only things I can walk in. Bloody arthritis. I was going to walk round the block and see. Maybe I will swap them for black,

On another thread a hat was described as looking like a stiff condom. These are the boots equivalent.

Black would be better.

The colours not very good, they remind me of the boots surgeons wear in operating theatres.
I think black would be better.

Are they the M&S ones? I can’t tell if they have the chunky sole from the pic. I have them and like them. I wanted the Boden ones but couldn’t justify £150 for something I would wear occasionally.

Look stylish with that dress. But bit of an overnight fashion thing. I'd wear them with grey jeans rolled and a cool (let's face it, probably animal print) sweatshirt (John Lewis have some nice cheap ones)
