I’ve seen these worn with cropped raw edge straight leg jeans and check, cropped shacket. I know that sounds a bit sexy lumberjack but it really worked, most colours were neutral or blue. Or for a very different look I’ve seen this colour work with an entirely black outfit with short skirt and thick tights. Makes the boots the statement

Update... They arrived and they looked awful. Weird, stiff and clunky. One look at DS's face was all I needed. They're going back.

Ahh OP I wish I had seen this earlier I could have warned you! I did the same - really liked them, then saw them in store at the weekend and tried on. Not good. Not comfortable.

I saw someone wearing those (or very similar ones, anyway) on the school run today with a checked oversized long coat, cropped straight leg jeans and a big scarf. She looked awesome. I gave her a happy smile of clothes appreciation, but she probably just thought I was bats.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

OP If I ever see something like those boots I try them on in the shops first. Sorry they disappointed you. I like the look of them too
