Hairspray leaving white flakes

Help needed please. I have really frizzy hair and have to put hairspray on everyday to keep my hair neat in a pony. Im starting to get problems with product build up and getting white bits off the hairspray. Is there a hairspray that doesn’t cause this or an alternative to hair spray that will still keep the bits of hair back and tidy does anyone know? I don’t have time to wash the hairspray out every night.

V05 gel spray is what I use for buns. I don't find you get the same build up as with hairspray, and it will hold any flyaways in place.

Do you really not have time to wash out the hairspray? It will build up if you don’t wash it out.

If you absolutely can’t wash it can you brush it well every night? Or there are gel brushes you get which I’ve seen online.

I have a 13 month old and work full time as well so that’s why I don’t have time to wash my hair every night.
