Lash lift for super straight lashes

I have very straight eyelashes and I’ve been looking in to lash lifts but I’m a bit scared!

Anyone tried them before? Do you have before and after photos you’d be happy to share?

I don't have any photos but highly recommend LVLs when done by a good technician. My lashes are very straight and I get a really good lift that lasts at least 6 weeks. I usually get a top up tint after 4 weeks and then get them redone after 8 weeks.

I've done it a couple of times now, also get them tinted at the same time. Makes a huge difference!

This sounds interesting. Do they look like you’ve just used eyelash curlers for six weeks?

That’s be great!

How does it work. Do they use some kind of eyelash curler to make them curly?

Elieza · 12/11/2021 19:28

Oh and I’d it dear?

cowburp · 12/11/2021 20:30

I was told to be really careful if you're usually a front sleeper as you could squash them out of shape on the very first night if not careful. Put me right off them.

I'm the same and I love the lash lift - I didn't realise how long my lashes actually are. And finally understand why my glasses are always so dirty, from my lashes lol.

My recommendation is to make sure you go somewhere really good, it's worth paying the extra. I've heard of cheaper places where people have lost their lashes eek.

Curling your lashes with an eyelash perm (and tint if you are fair) makes a massive difference. I do my own but I have been trained (used to be a beauty therapist a long time ago) as my lashes have straightened with time. I wouldn’t tint them myself though.

Before and after
I’ve had lash lift and tint 3 times now and feel it’s worth it as I don’t wear much make up

I pay under £40 every 8 weeks

I have very long dark lashes that are very straight and LVL makes them look amazing - my friends have asked if I’m wearing false lashes. I definitely recommend them if you have straight lashes.

Interesting. I always tint mine myself without any training. Wouldn't dream of trying to perm them though. Why wouldn't you do your own?
PeachMelba78 · 12/11/2021 22:05

@Spiceup you need to get right in at the root and it can go wrong. I don’t need to tint mine either. With curling you can miss the root so it’s safer in that way.

BelleOfTheProvince · 12/11/2021 23:31

Get a professional to do it.
But it absolutely makes a huge difference for me. Had mine done three weeks ago and had lots of compliments.

Monsterinlawz · 13/11/2021 12:31

Thanks everyone for the advice! I’ll have a look around for a place with good reviews and give it a try I think.

@JaceLancs your eyelashes look amazing!

I’m going for my first lash lift and tint next week. My eyelashes are quite long but only one curls nicely the other is very straight can’t wait.

FrancesFlute · 13/11/2021 14:33

It's great. I also have completely straight lashes. From what I remember, they have three different sized mould kind of things. You will need the ones with the most dramatic curl (have a look on LVL website). Sorry can't remember the actual wording - not have mine done since 2019!
