Another Mumsnetter mentioned Feelunique samples, where we choose 5 for £14 if it’s a one off purchase (cheaper if we sign up for two or more). I wish I could recall who it was so I could give her credit.

I might not be the one who recommended it but I always recommend it for the sample sizes of perfumes.

There are some good options in the £3.95 selection at the minute too.

I've done this a couple of times and going to do another order. Some great opportunities to try eg Estée Lauder ANR Eye, a 5ml tub ( third of full size), Skinceuticals stuff, Lumene etc.
