What do you wear for each of these festivities?

Needing to buy some new clothes for the winter due to baby related weight gain but I'm not sure where to start!

What outfits would you choose for -

1. Christmas day
2. Work/family Christmas party
3. Pub lunch
4. Day out Christmas shopping / markets

We have three generations for Christmas lunch travelling in from Europe, Canada and the US. Christmas Day is relaxed in pj’s

For the work Christmas do I have some gorgeous black trousers from a local designer to wear with a fancy top.

Jeans and hoodie with my favourite boots for everything else.

1. Christmas day - if at home, just jeans and a jumper, or maybe an elasticated waist 'nice' skirt and jumper / if out, same but nicer

2. Work/family Christmas party - sequin mini and jumper/tights/boots

3. Pub lunch - depends on pub and who with - probably a dress and boots

4. Day out Christmas shopping / markets - jeans, boots, not too big a coat as shops always boiling

1. Christmas day - something suitable for a long walk but maybe a bit fluffy or sparkly on top
2. Work/family Christmas party - I don't really go to these
3. Pub lunch - maybe a knitted dress, thick tights and smart boots
4. Day out Christmas shopping / markets - I have a red wool coat that would probably be the basis of this if it wasn't raining, but other than that, either similar to 3 or velvet jeans and a cuddly jumper

I've just ordered this sequin duster from Anthropologie that I'm going to try to slot in over Christmas - providing it doesn't make me look too much like a magicians assistant....

I love your dress @JMAngel1. I'm definitely going to get myself something green and velvet for the season.

xmas party-grey sparkly wrap dress
xmas lunch-christmas jumper,pleather skirt,boots.
Xmas market-coat,polo neck,tartan midi skirt and knee boots.
Have all these items ready to go.
