Shoes I can walk for several miles in, but look ok with casual dresses & tights?

I live in casual dresses, thick tights and flats - not particularly fashionable but it all goes together pretty much ok. My problem is that I walk a lot, and my wide feet & old bones are starting to beg for a bit of support from my shoes. I walked 8 miles around my city in some flat boots yesterday, and I'm regretting it a bit today so I need new shoes!

I have some Doc Martens and they're ok, but I'd ideally like something more trainer-like. I haven't worn Converse for a while but I feel like they're not going to be quite comfy enough anymore. Maybe something like Allbirds (are they actually good?), Nike Frees, or something along those lines? Or do I need to stick to boots, and if so any recommendations for something comfy but decent-looking?

Thank you!

Adidas Superstars or Adidas Sambas. Super comfy and come in loads of colours . Some will say they don't work with dresses and tights but I don't agree. For boots, ECCO are super comfy and have some cool styles

Another vote for ECCO boots - stylish and super comfy for walking (proper foot support and all that).
