Why can't I find a bloody top to go with jeans

Just for a low key night out
To go with black jeans or coated jeans
That isn't a billowing, puff sleeve, high neck swamp
Or cropped/peplum for a teenager

It's not too much to ask is it?????

What are coated Jeans?

I’m sure your DP won’t notice, but if you feel self-conscious then a contrasting blazer over the top would look nice?

If it’s neck, then a long necklace to draw the eye away from the neck?

That’s what I wore last time I went out for dinner and drinks.

@SoupDragon thanks for posting the link to Esprit, haven't thought of them in years (maybe decades...) just had a look now and love the look of many many items on the website. How do they come up sizing / quality wise?

Quality has always been good. Size usually is good too - they tend to put a comment about the fit based on customer feedback. Returns are free so if fit is likely to be an issue I order two sizes,

True to size. I ordered my usual size, though they often advise, in the description, if it comes up big or small.

Honestly I live in jeans so every top goes well with jeans for me

I just got this, the fit is lovely. I'm petite and know what you mean about everything being swampy at the moment. The sleeves are loose but not at all billowy.

I have just bought that top, and it really suits me.

However, I won't see 60 again. DD likes it BTW, and she is 21.

@RestingMurderousFace after baby no3 and previous issues with jeans RUINING ALL MY CLOTHES I found the "pull on" jeans at Next very comfortable and practical they come in skinny and straight

Out of 6 tops this was the only one that was passable
Opinions please????
