I'm in love with these teal boots

On a middle aged woman who generally dresses middle aged they're going to look like clown shoes, aren't they?

I'm imagining them with dresses and thick tights or wide leg jeans.

Separately what boots do go with wide leg jeans? I'm still sticking with trainers but need something for winter.

I have these boots in black and can confirm that they are really comfy and look good with pretty much everything. I especially like to wear them with more fitted skirts/dresses, but to my eyes at least they look fine with jeans too… The only drawback is that it takes me about 10 minutes to get them on.

I saw this colour in the shop when I bought mine and they’re really not an in your face bright teal. In fact I almost accidentally bought them, after thinking I’d picked up the black ones. In my defence I was in a hurry and the light wasn’t particularly good in the shop, but still…definitely not a bright colour!

I'm 55 and wear DM's, your boots are very similar in style (I have flowery ones/glitter ones-got several pairs, apart from red ones, then I'd definitely feel like a clown) with leggings/jeggings and different long tunics/tops
I've also worn black dm's with black tights and dresses
Boots can look fab imho, but no.... not boot leg jeans, sorry

Love the boots and the colour, but my go to winter boots are ariat country boots or my cowboy boots again made by ariat,neither pair needed breaking in and the quality is amazing,with my country boots I wear skinny jeans and my cowboy boots either skinny jeans tucked in to show my boots off or boot cut jeans,I've even been know to go cowboy boots and a dress 😲

Those boots are gorgeous OP. Wear with skirts and dresses and opaque tights as everyone has said, you'll look fab. I love Toast dresses but I appreciate that's not everyone's taste (I buy second hand).

I've just bought the Anyday chelsea boots in Khaki leather from John Lewis which are lovely quality for the price - about £55 ish.

I think I'm going to buy these burgundy boots. I have them in brown already so I know they're comfortable

I wear boot leg jeans with boots all the time. I don't see what the problem is
