I wasn't sure if I wanted it at first but decided for £36 it was worth trying out because I'm not going to pay £135 just to see if I like it.

So many edits!!!
Regarding the EFG serum. I've never trusted it myself but it has been mentioned on MN in the past with positive reviews.
The Ordinary launched an EFG serum earlier this year. Again, I haven't trued myself and don't know what it does, if anything. The reviews around the launch time were only from beauty people which makes me suspicious because it looked like a veiled advertising campaign. Although these are individuals I usually trust and the price point is very low, so probably worth a try at dome stage.

What might be in the gold standard level of EFG is on this link, but just shy of £250 for 30ml of magic water is too scary for me.
This website is my porn.

For a bit of a moan: Annoyingly I've just realised Nuxe have discontinued their lifting mask in a tube. It really was an incredible product.
I've already been through disappointments for some favourites and never found good enough replacements after they were discontinued:
Lierac's gel lift mask, I loved it.
My favourite hair serum has also disappeared some years ago from an American natural beauty brand; my absolute favourite rose fragrance which came from Clarins was a fleeting vision years ago, And Sarah Chapman's eye masks completely vanished.

I bet PK Elasticizer will outlive all of us and our grandchildren will still have the opportunity of buying it off the shelf.

Branster · 13/05/2025 11:58

Sorry tried it myself, not trusted for EFG serum.
No idea how to edit the previous post.

Doubleraspberry · 13/05/2025 12:11

Things I love disappearing too. I am still in mourning for Prescriptives make up and my favourite perfume is on its way out. I absolutely loved the firming gel that Benefit used to do and that has gone. I could go on but won’t.

Has anyone else seen the email from recycle:me about the scheme with Look Fantastic and Cult Beauty? It seems that all good things must come to an end and they are changing the reward from £5 worth of loyalty points per 5 items to a voucher for £5 off a £25 spend per 5 items. So you can no longer save up your points for a large discount. 😥

It comes into effect from 11 June, so I'll be trying to get a few more deposits in before then to bank some points and then probably switching back to Boots which does allow you to save up your points

Isabelle70 · 14/05/2025 16:53

@Roundaboot I have had the email as well and I have 15 items ready to deposit but was waiting on the next 5 so I could have the full amount deposited in one month.

I saw it earlier. So disappointing. It did seem too good to last - especially up to March when you could get £40 credit a month. The £5 voucher can't be used with any other promotional codes which is a shame - I always used it with a discount code which gave me 20% off anyway so it's worthless.

Addictedtobeauty · 14/05/2025 17:40

I’m super sad the reward is changing- I was saving g for an advent calendar. The Boots scheme requires a minimum spend too I think- is it £10? Then the points are added to the shop. Do they get added if you spend points rather than cash on the qualifying spend? I’ve never actually used the boots scheme as recycle me was so good.

PomRuns · 14/05/2025 17:58

Do you think need to spend existing credit? So disappointing they’ve changed it again so soon after the last change.

I agree a £5 voucher is pretty worthless if can’t be used with another code.

i think existing credit added to your account on CB or LF will be fine- no need to spend any quicker than you usually would. I’m guessing you could add one of the new £5 off credits to an order that you intend to pay in existing points too so worth collecting a reward at least once.

Boots advantage card scheme terms and conditions say you can’t earn points if you pay with points. I wonder does that include scanning the recycle voucher for the shop. I might try at the weekend and report back.

OvaHere · 14/05/2025 18:52

Oh that's annoying. It's only recently they changed the frequency. I've got loads of empties built up so I need to get on that before the 11th as I've been slack about doing it.

I suppose from their POV it was overly generous as you could easily get £40 per month in credit and I'm sure a lot of people were more diligent at doing it than me.

Housewife2010 · 15/05/2025 15:55

Re Latest in Beauty, they used to have some great offers, but I wonder if they're struggling since they stopped the monthly boxes. I put a box in my basket this morning and they've since sent me 4 emails to remind me to buy it!

This is such a shame. I won’t use it after the 11th June as it’s a pointless offer, Cult Beauty regularly have 20% off so there’s no advantage to be gained by using the scheme.
I’ll go back to the Boots recycling scheme, which is a faff, but at least you get £5 worth of points when you spend £10.

TulipBlooms · 16/05/2025 09:29

Cult Beauty just emailed me a Spin to Win game and I got a £50 voucher 😊 No minimum spend so I just stocked up on Elemis Cleansing Balm for free!

paristotokyo · 16/05/2025 09:50

@TulipBloomsI ran to my emails after seeing this but I only got 15% off 😂 lucky you! Enjoy!

DoTheyKnowItsLemonJuice · 16/05/2025 10:28

I’ve got a £50 voucher too and it doesn’t work 😟 “not applicable to the contents of your basket”

TulipBlooms · 16/05/2025 11:35

Oh no @DoTheyKnowItsLemonJuice Are you logged in? Have you tried different items?

Back21970 · 16/05/2025 13:38

I got a £50 too, never had more than a 15% discount code before.

I’m still debating what to buy - hope it works!

nearly61 · 16/05/2025 13:41

Looks like cultbeauty have changed the terms on this spin to win as they now have a minimum spend applicable. Hope they honour the ones that went through earlier (mine included!)

LightandBreezy · 16/05/2025 13:55

Oh that's interesting ( and disappointing for the £50 voucher winners) basically the 25% is the most useful win then due to the lower spend to qualify.
