I’ve ended up with a couple of the CB perfume edits. I originally got Fresh & Floral then went back for the fruity one. I used BLC so they were both £28 shipped. I think they are great bargains, trying not to order Warm & Woody 😬😁

wheresmyshoe · 25/03/2025 17:13

I’ve just discovered Boop beauty, I’m head over heels. It won’t help my stash issue but the product range and discounts are fantastic.

Stoic123 · 25/03/2025 17:43

My Warm and Woody Edit arrived and I like it. I marginally prefer the Fruity one but I think that's because I'm looking forward to summer. The W&W will be perfect for autumn.

I'm sitting on my hands to stop myself ordering the Floral one,

Not seen that one before. It does look good.

Word of caution though, if you buy anything check the manufacture date or expiry date. Sometimes they can have a short shelf life left and you don't want to add to your stash for a later date if that's the case.

wheresmyshoe · 25/03/2025 18:39

Good advice, thank you @OvaHere

The Harvey Nichols advent calendar is showing as being in stock. Did anyone open it in December and if so what did you think? It's full price.

I loved it - if you see one grab it in my opinion

Roundaboot · 26/03/2025 10:13

Has anyone had a mystery box from LiB before? I had an email this morning saying they had some on sale for £20 and impulse bought one 😬

Branster · 26/03/2025 10:39

I had it as a freebie with an order in the past. It was OK for free but it just had leftovers from their monthly subscription scheme which was stopped prior to this offer. Not very exciting but certainly useable as everyday stuff. I held off today because of this.
But maybe they have improved and you may be pleasantly surprised. And £20 is a nice low spend, it should be OK.

Roundaboot · 26/03/2025 11:22

I don't mind it not being exciting as long as it's useable! I thought it was worth a punt for £20 - might be able to sell some things on Vinted to recoup too.

Brogues · 26/03/2025 12:32

I’m surprised they’re still going after they closed their monthly sub!

Branster · 26/03/2025 12:33

@Roundaboot they were definitely very useable. Not like a bright pink eye liner. From memory 2 sets of travel size shampoo/conditioner, a big size radiance face mask, travel size Gatineau face scrub, a toner from some all natural brand, some sort of serum but I can't remember the name, the weleda balm, I think there was also a really nicely fragranced hand wash. And a sleep spray with a heating eye mask which I really liked. I can't remember if there was anything else and don't remember all the brands. I used everything.
A bit sad I remember as much as this.
And I can never remember exactly which of my children don't want ketchup in a bacon sandwich or sultanas in a scone, I always have to ask and still get it mixed up!

Branster · 26/03/2025 12:35

@Brogues they completely changed their approach it's all tiktok younger audience now, trending products and not as good value as it used to be. I miss the subscription.
Their ads are so irritating too.

Have you recieved your order? I really want to place one but I'm sure someone on the advent thread had a really bad experience with them.

wheresmyshoe · 27/03/2025 11:41

@MentyBarrived quickly with no problems. Great products as described.

MentyB · 27/03/2025 11:44

@wheresmyshoe oh that's great then. I think I'll give it a go! Thank you

Addictedtobeauty · 27/03/2025 18:09

Came home from work today to a BBC package containing the promised goodwill gesture of a Dr Jart mask and H2O cream alongside another complete masterclass goody bag. I was very pleasantly surprised. I hope all the other posters who were disappointed have had similar positive experiences. I can’t fault their remedial actions in my case.

Sunnydaysarehereonceagain · 27/03/2025 21:02

Just dropping in to say that I had the exact same package as @Addictedtobeauty delivered today from TBBC in response to my plea for the body cream. Brilliant outcome and very impressed with their customer services 😊

Isabelle70 · 28/03/2025 18:16

Boots have a couple of new boxes, new and trending for £49 and a SPF and skincare for £35. I also have a £5 voucher if I purchase both so would be rude not too! My daughter may split the cost and boxes with me...

Roundaboot · 29/03/2025 11:14

Just received my LiB mystery box. I'm pretty impressed for £20, though there is some fairly random stuff in there!
I will definitely use the 4 L'Occitane body creams (love the almond range so very happy with those!), the lip gloss, black eyeliner, brow gel and spoolie brush. And the teeny tiny hand cream.
I'll be giving away the scalp brush (already have one), shampoo (unless it turns out to be CG friendly which I doubt) and the hair wipes. I really can't imagine a situation where I'd need to wipe my hair!
And then we've got the fake eyelashes, which I've never used before but am interested to try, hair clips, which I wouldn't buy for myself but will try and some post tanning body lotion. I think it's supposed to be used post sunbed, which I'd never use but it may end up being a nice body lotion for summer.

Not a bad haul for £20 and it's fun to have some different products to try

Amazon has some good beauty deals in their spring sale.

All the Erborian Creams are significantly discounted, a couple over 50%.

Quite a few other K beauty discounts.

The d'Alba White Truffle spray is much reduced both 50ml and 100ml. I bought it last time it was on offer (not as cheap as this) and have powered through it. It's a cross between a first essence and hydrating mist. I've found I really like it.

Seen some Anua, Purito, Cosrx reduced.

Aestura Atobarrier cream is 30% off as is Iliyoon Barrier cream. These are normally quite pricey.

Saw some Medik8 and Byoma products on offer.

There's a lot of Color Wow products at close to half price. Also various Moroccan Oil products.

Those Wonderskin lip stains that like me you've probably seen advertised everywhere are about £13. Wanted to try one for a while but didn't want to pay 20 odd quid for one.

I’m really tempted to try the d’Alba truffle spray. Also a couple of things from the Corsx propolis range, have you tried any of those?

I have a propolis toner in my stash but haven't got round to trying it yet. I think I bought it in a previous sale based on good reviews.

I really like the truffle spray. I use it straight after cleansing and it makes me feel fresh and perked up. You need to be quite generous with the spraying for the best effect. I think the 50ml version is under a tenner in the sale.

Great. Let me know what you think of them. I'd like to try the double pot truffle cream but that doesn't seem to go on sale as much.

Yes that one looks lovely but quite pricey!
