Yes I was about to say I thought everyone had sworn off BBC on one of the AC threads! Wasn’t there a palaver with mis advertising? https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/the-masterclass-by-the-bridal-beauty-co-tickets-1120593337839 I didn’t see the goody bag teasers but on their Instagram stories there’s a post about holding with them for delivery of it, it could be because emails went to spam , doesn’t give me confidence on top of all that I’ve read. The Founder’s Exit name checks a lot of good brands but with no sizes how do you know if it’s useful at all?

@BakeOffRewatch You are correct about the misadvertising, I can’t recall which one it was but they made a mess. Personally they refunded part of it and I was happy with the resolution.
I have had no issues with the masterclass and have received my emails and links etc however, my friend has not and has been in contact with them.

@BakeOffRewatch it was really bad. Miss-advertising and very short expiry dates. And some posters had past experiences with bad products and their names used as false reviews.
Not worth a gamble unless you're happy to spend £30-£50 as put it down to experience should the worst happen.
This year they've been showing some of the mystery items on instagram, so that's an improvement.
The email for the masterclass went to my Junk email folder. So worths checking.

I have also bought the founders box and signed up to the master class after saying I wasn't buying anymore 😅
@Branster I was refunded after the whole thing after quite a few emails. However when there was a problem on an earlier order they handled it amazingly. I've found their customer service very Jekyl and Hyde however keep ordering from them

I’ve done exactly the same @MentyB , ordered both this morning having sworn that I was done with TBBC at the time of the backlash last year 🤣. I need to be honest with myself and recognise that I’m never going to be able of resist mystery boxes entirely and every now and then the itch needs to be scratched

@Sunnydaysarehereonceagain I'm sure it's a dopamine thing! I love a beauty edit, but absolutely cannot resist a mystery one! My husband is going to go mad I told him no more (for this month)

Ooooh @MrsBnow12 those fragrances are tempting. I love a floral fragrance icl. Some of the sizes are tiny but it's a great way to sample some new ones. Tempted!

I did enjoy the Sephora bit and would like to rewatch the eye section.
I like the fragrance edits and they have both sample and some decent sizes, compared to Next Floral Street I think these are better.

CB also do a blue light discount of 20% if anyone has it. Takes each kit down to £28 which is an absolute steal.

I just tried again and it’s still working for me. It’s a special 20% off fragrance on the BL app. I clicked to copy code and it takes me to the website. Then I clicked download app (I already have it so it just allows me to click ‘open’) and then add the edit(s) and paste the discount at checkout. I hope you can get it working.

I thought the masterclass was well paced and informative, not overwhelming and just right for a Sunday. Now I understand what Skin Rocks is all about and I might have been inspired to use my makeup a bit more often.
DH took the dogs out and I spent all day cooking and baking, so it was perfect to follow. DS happened to FaceTime when I was watching a 'critical' makeup part, which confused me more than it usually does!
I absolutely totally want the bag and, for the entire 'event' I can't fault it for value and quality. I think it was around £25, which is beyond reasonable.

I enjoyed the masterclass more than I thought I would, I was planning on only watching Skin Rocks but loved both makeup segments and learnt some new techniques to try and will make sure I go to Bobbi Brown for a foundation match as know the one she uses is highly recommended.
I too am looking forward to the goody bag and somehow even managed to be first for one of the quiz questions so will get a prize too.
I also thought it was good value and would do another at a similar price point.
