Has anyone bought from Rouje before, really interested to know how the sizing is and what the quality is like? I’m particularly interested in the Gilbert sheepskin coat as it’s the best I can find for the price and style. Thanks in advance!

I’ve got some stuff from there. I have been willing to pay a bit extra for their things, just because I’ve liked the style. However I do think it is over priced - the quality isn’t quite up there or what you might expect. I’ve found the sizing fine - pretty much my usual size, although they do note if you need to size up or down sometimes. The delivery can be really slow - I think I’ve waited a week or two for things to be dispatched before. Things can and do sell out as I don’t think they make loads of stock.

Have you looked at Sézane? You might like them if you like Rouje.

I'm never sure with Rouje if it's just Jeanne Damas making the clothes look good. On their own some of their tops look like the kind of things I bought as a 90s teenager in shops with names like Glitzy.

I love Rouje but a lot of it is quite overpriced for the quality, I try to buy second hand or in sales. I’d say the quality is like & Other Stories. I haven’t tried the leather goods or the Gilbert though.

I think the sizing is fairly small on a par with most other French brands (except Sezane which comes up bigger). I am a 6-8 and I take a 36 in Rouje unless it’s an oversized item, but I’d be a 34/xs/6 in most other shops. Lots of the jackets are oversized so I would probably size down in them.

I think you have to pay for returns but I haven’t purchased in a while.

Thanks for your replies. Does anyone know if they do Black Friday discounts? I have 10% code for being a new customer but 20% or something more would be nice!!

I suspect not @Surferrosa74 I’m not sure the French brands do Black Friday.

I don’t think they do Black Friday, their sales are good but that’s probably after Christmas.
