Matalan boots

I've been wanting to get some new boots for ages but don't like the biker styles or DMs and I found these and ordered at Matalan:-

I now quite like her skirt but can't find it!

@MyGrassIsBrowner - found the skirt now - not sure I love the tiered shape of it but there's a shorter dress in the same print.

Thanks re the boots - I hope they're comfy - I've only ever bought clothes occasionally from Matalan.

@Gonnagetgoing I've not bought from Matalan for a long time but I find there one of very few shops that consistently have nice items of clothing in, and the quality is pretty good as well! I've got a pair of flat suede knee high boots from there that are still going strong 5 years later! The skirt is quite nice but I know I couldn't pull that look off. X

I've just ordered those boots. I was thinking about DMs or Solvair but I'll see how I go with these and if I wear them as much as I think I might then I'll upgrade.
I agree, Matalan stuff is good quality. I've not bought their shoes in years but I like the clothes.

@Forestcantrun - I don’t like DMs or biker boots but these look good and depending on how they perform I’ll upgrade too. I just wanted something that was ankle length and which I could wear with skirts etc. The price is a bonus!

Matalan is my guilty pleasure, it's never mentioned on here but they always have a few things that are really stylish! Their sizing is consistent, and quality is good. I love browsing the Matalan website!

Good to know @newbootaand. I'm hoping they're not too heavy, that is my fear with any footwear but I need an option out of runners for a more "formal" version of me🤣🤣

They are lovely boots although if you don't like dm's or biker they kind of fit the bill for both. Great value for leather too.

@liveforsummer - see for me seeing them I don't think they're proper DM or biker style - kind of inbetween if you understand me?

I just don't like proper big DMs or the biker style and these look more feminine!

@Forestcantrun - this is exactly what I wanted - not too heavy and more 'formal' so I could wear them out to bars/restaurants and so on.

I am definitely going to be browsing Matalan more though, very impressed so far.

I bought a velvet dress too. Just to be the goth I never was but should have been 🤣🤣🤣

Ive had great matalan shoes and boots

I often do a search on matalan for footwear, filtered to the few styles they make in leather each season. I have had a fabulous pair of boots and some work shoes from there before.

Raging. Half my order arrived but no boots. Apparently they were cancelled as out of stock (after they were due to arrive). The dress will probably go back now, not much of a goth effect without the boots😂

I bought a pair a couple of weeks ago and liked them so much I ordered another pair!
I can't believe the price for leather. Fantastic value and stylish without being too clumpy. TBH I'm amazed I haven't seen them mentioned on here before.
