So got my office Christmas party coming up in just under 4 weeks time, been trawling the internet all week and just can’t seem to see anything I like. Been sooo long since I’ve had a night out I’ve forgot what sort of things suit me after working from home for the past year and living in leggings & pjs, but I am really looking forward to the opportunity to get glammed up.
I’m a size 10, average height, and ever so slightly pair shaped. I’m 28 so want something fairly young and trendy while still looking classy.
Plunging necklines, tight trousers and jumpsuits are all a big no no as they don’t suit my shape. Nude and champagne colours also wash me out. Also have to be able to wear a bra or at the very least tit tape so nothing backless.
Longer skirts and dresses tend to make me look frumpy and shorter than I actually am.
Skirt and top combos and dresses suit me best. I also love a square neckline! And red! Red is my colour and makes me feel nice and festive 😊 don’t wanna look too overdressed or underdressed, think cocktails with the girls, that’s the sorta vibe I’m going for.
Also I’m on a tight budget. I’ve already got trusty black heels on standby that go with everything, so just need an outfit or a dress for £40 - £50 max.
