Puffer jacket for 14 year old dd

Dd wants a new coat to wear for school and also at weekends.

Lots of teens round here wear North Face but firstly they are £££ and secondly they’re probably a bit TOO warm (dd runs quite warm).

She tried one from Zara but it was an odd shape, very short at the front and didn’t look right over her school blazer.

Any suggestions for something like this? Definitely a jacket rather than a coat, preferably black.

Is there anything in H&M? Usually good for basics and got DS one there recently.

Yep, we got a plain black one in H&M for £25 for my 14yo.

DD 14 does currently have a North face puffa jacket which actually isn't always as warm as you'd think or as waterproof. At least not like my Northface tri-climate which I bought way before they were a trend and is very waterproof

I've bought similar jackets for DD from Amazon and George at Asda. Decent puffa jackets with a hood £10-20

Plenty big enough to go over the blazer for school.

My daughter wears this over her blazer, looks nicer in real life. Is warm but not too heavy.

I got my dd 13 one from Misguided, size 6 women's, she loves it.

I had the same thing last week OP, hovered over a north face coat but £200 is too much for a growing teen who may possibly lose it!!

I bought a new look coat for DD from ASOS for around £30 and she’s thrilled with it! There are 100s on there so I let her pick which one she liked.
