Since baby number three made an arrival I have discovered the joy that and comfort is high waisted knickers - I am never going back!
I can't believe how much warmer I am now I have high waisted knickers and higher waisted jeans, years of always being slightly chilly in lower fitting ones. What a revelation!
However, I previously bought the cheapest ones I could find as I only planned on wearing them a few weeks post birth, and sadly they are now falling to pieces.
So now I am on the hunt for high waisted, cotton knickers that are both pretty and will not break the bank, seeing as I need to replace my entire knicker drawer! But also pairs that will stand up to life and not fall to pieces after a couple of months. Does anyone have any recommendations? When I say high waisted, I mean ones that finish about belly button height. Would they be called maxi pants?
While we're on the subject I have also become a convert to period pants. High waisted ones in particular. Absolutely bloody brilliant, no pun intended. How I wish they'd been around in my teenage years, would have made life so much easier.
