Longline gilet

I'm really liking the mint velvet longline gilet. Anybody seen anything as nice or nicer before I go buy it?
Only long ones though...it looks so cozy.

Which one? The faux fur?

I ordered the longline khaki gilet from mint velvet. It’s lovely and well made but in the end I sent it back. I couldn’t justify the cost and this probably sounds odd but it felt too much like a coat with the sleeves cut off! It’s so padded and warm that it felt like it needed to have sleeves! In the end I ordered this Zara one that I love and have worn constantly since it arrived. It’s far more or a pale cool toned khaki in real life and comes in black. The sizing is big for Zara - I needed the xs and plenty of room for a chunky jumper underneath.

H&M have a similar one a lot cheaper. Need to size down though

I didn't get it, just saw it there and tried it on while waiting for dd. Wasn't really looking for one but thought it was good quality, just a bit big. I've been looking on the website but can't see it, sorry 🙁. Saw it in a shop only 3 or 4 weeks ago

I got the one from H&M in the khaki but they don't have them in black or khaki here in any of the shops anymore or online. I saw it in brown a couple of weeks ago. It's massive though. I usually wear am xl in H&M and I think the one I've got is a small.

I saw a mum on the school run wearing one and I thought it looked really chic.

Following as they look like a game changer! Like the Zara one but not keen on black and worried that the pale colours would look dirty very quickly. Like the silk thread one but don't have my size

I bought the Mint Velvet longline one in khaki. It’s lovely to layer with sweaters on cold dry days and because it’s sleeveless it never feels too bulky or restrictive. Great for walking the dogs and the school run/gym. It works equally well for a smarter look too - think cash-silk polo, slim leather jeans and chunky mid calf Chelsea boots.
