asymmetric haircuts

I'm growing out a pixie, have always had relatively wavy and sometimes curly hair. Don't really want it too long but generally just a bit longer than a short pixie. But one side is growing with great curls and the other is ... flat ... What are thoughts on an asymmetric cut letting the curly side run free with the flat side cut shorter and tidy to the ear? I like the back short too. Apologies for the dreadful picture

My friend has something like what you have described with a bit of an undercut under the curls so make the back work better. It looks amazing so I say do it

Yes do it! Really short flat side and back would work, and undercut the long side too. Obvs get hairdresser to do it if not confident to diy.
