Concealer recommendations in your 40’s that won’t look crinkly

I have dark shadows under my eyes and also my eyelids are quite dark. I’ve used clarins concealer for years which I like but recently caught sight of myself in a mirror and thought it though it looked cakey and wrinkly especially on my eyelids.

Can anyone recommend something that won’t look cakey or wrinkly but do good concealing job? What should I use on my eyelids to get rid of the dark colour? I’m 46.

Nars is really good, use a beauty blender too to make it more natural but I think it is the most natural concealer there is and it doesn't sit in lines or look cakey at all

I got a By Terry sample and it was very good. Pricey though. Hyaluronic Hydra concealer.

Nars creamy concealer. You can buy travel sizes if you want to try out.

How much are you using?
Are you adding it on top of foundation?
Are you powdering on top?

There’s a mua (Robert or James Welsh?) who has some excellent tutorials.

In a nutshell.
Use less. A lot less. Even less than that.
Don’t use foundation underneath.
A whisper of powder.
Eyelid primer.

Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer.

As above, less is more. You shouldn't be putting it all over your eyelids.

For under eye circles Benefit Boing is good.

If you want to even out colour on eyelids just use Revlon Photo Ready Eye Primer or Urban Decay Eyeshadow primer to even out the lid.
