Simple skincare routine in your 40’s?

I’m 46, my face feels dry and skin looks pasty. I have always had dark circles but these seem more obvious now without a bit of a tan. I have always used clarins foaming cleanser as I like the feel of cleansing with water but this has changed & am not as keen on it. I’ve been using a clarins moisturiser but my skin still feels dry afterwards.

I’d like to improve my skincare but I have arthritis in my hands so I would find it difficult to use too many products in one go.
Can anyone share their simple but effective skincare routines please & recommend some not too expensive products? Heading to shops today.

I'm still doing the Clinique 3 step although I'm using a no7 apricot cleanser I got in a gift set at the moment.

I especially love moisture surge moisturiser.

I've just bought a beauty kitchen set, cleanser, oil and moisturiser. I'm loving it. Fell well moisturised but not greasy at all.

I’m 41 and all I use is Johnson and Johnson’s blue wipes to take my make up off and then I wash my face with Nivea blue face wash. In the mornings I just do the face wash. At night I use Aldi q10 night moisturiser and in the mornings I use their one with spf30. I used to work for Clinique and then Chanel and personally I don’t find spending any more on stuff makes any difference at all…. ! I’m quite happy with my routine. I think the spf makes a difference so I always make sure whatever I use for daytime has at least spf 30.
