I’ve lost my style.

Just that really. I catch sight of myself ever now and then and just don’t look my best.

I’m thinking of getting some new clothes for Christmas as my wardrobe needs a bit of an update, help me with some inspiration please!

Im mid 30s, average height and size 10/12. Pale skin and long brown hair. I’m really busty so some clothes can make me look bigger than I am.

I’d really like a black leather jacket but apart from that I don’t know.

It's quite hard to help without knowing more.

So what is your lifestyle like? Upping your day to day wear is probably better than going for better occasional wear.

So better fitting jeans, shoes, casual tops.

What do you like style wise,? for example I like colour, it makes me feel happy. I don't really enjoy wearing black (although will wear it occasionally) I hate Breton stripes but know others love it. I also know what specific colours suit me and that I like so to narrow down a search for a new jumper I'll look for those specific colours.

No advice really but I am in the same position! I am hanging about a bit more here on Style and Beauty for some inspiration, and looking for ideas of outfits on some clothes websites that popped up on my Insta. I have seen a few insta page recommendations here on S&B but haven't yet seen any that are me!

Oh and go for the jacket! I got one and it really helped liven up some otherwise pretty 'meh' outfits. Definitely helped me feel a bit more stylish which has encouraged me to keep trying.

Sorry to disagree I wouldn’t go for a black leather jacket as I think it’s a bit “Rock Chick” and quite hard to wear. A different colour maybe beige, tan or dark green or grey but not black.
