£30 Zara coat

It has no buttons which is the bane of my life, but I bought the light grey and went back for 2 other colours. Really lovely. I’m 5’3, size 12 and it ends mid calf for me.

Looks great with a scarf! Just a little PSA for anyone that wants a smart coat but doesn’t want to spend £££.

They bring out a version of this every year! I have one and really like the way it looks but it’s unlined and very thin so definitely doesn’t do the job of a coat in anything approaching cold weather. For me anyway! Maybe this year’s is thicker?

These are great urban or commuter coats where you just need a brolly when it rains.

Yep I have this in a tan colour from a few years ago. Still going strong

I like the yellow. But it would get grubby so quickly!

I got a medium, and it fits well. Enough room for a big jumper but not oversized if that makes sense!

Looks lovely but 100% polyester. Presume it's not warm?

Did you really need three new (polyester, sweat shop made) coats?!

Lots of coats are polyester it's not touching the skin and it's recycled

Seasalt's pentewan coat is recycled polyester for instance

I have the animal print one from two or three years ago.

I've got this in the grey and love it. It's not warm but perfect maybe for shopping in an indoor shopping centre it just nipping out for a bit. You can check it in the washing machine too.

I bought one last year or the year before. It’s definitely thin, not a proper coat. I also found it bobbled and looked battered quite quickly. Good for one season.
