School shoes

Dd1's shoes have already started breaking 2 months into term, they were a pair of M&S brogues.

I've just tried going to Clarks with her and the brogues there are too narrow.

She has a long commute, walks at least 12-15,000 steps a day so needs something comfy and solid. School is quite strict, no trainer types or boots.

Has anyone got any recommendations? I showed her a pair of Kickers but they're a bit too chunky for her tastes. She's 12 but still in children's sizes.

My girls wear Angry Angels shoes.

Adult ladies Clark's brogues. A couple come in wide fit, and start size 3.

Ricosta or Petasil are robust.

Thanks all. I found an offer on DMs so have ordered those and will see how she gets on.

Second Doc Martens! My DD is a total shoe wrecker (managed to wear a hole in a pair of anti scuff shoes in about 4 weeks 😫) but she's never worn out a pair of Docs

@Stokey could you share the offer you found please. I'm looking for new school shoes for my dd and was hoping for DMs, but don't really want to spend over £100.

It was on Schuh @Thisismynewname123. But Dd1 has small feet so was able to get the junior size 3 ones.
