I’ve got the dress in black. It’s gorgeous, not at all itchy and so warm.

I tried that exact dress on in Uniqlo today! I loved it, except it made my hair look as though I'd been electrocuted! I'm not sure I've ever considered what clothing does to my hair before but the static was crazy! I do have fine hair... So I walked out with a Merino wool v neck, a pair of heattech gloves, heattech "room socks" and heattech leggings instead. I'm a bit obsessed with Uniqlo heattech

I think if you put it on while wearing a hat (maybe a shower hat, or tin foil?) then you won't get the static. Just remember to remove said hat before going out in public.

It sounds like you'll be toasty warm this winter. I also love a bit of heattech.

I actually like the knitted Uniqlo dress better. I think it suits you and am not sure the party dress does so much. Perhaps it needs heels. I don't know anything about fashion though, just what I like. I'm sure other people will think differently. Or maybe its your Avant Garde photography skills that show the first dress to better advantage...

I like it. With that dress I'd wear any of these (which I own)

Red patent pointed ballet flats
Red patent high heeled Mary Janes
Green suede mid heeled courts
Red suede mid heeled courts
Pink suede mid heeled courts
Very high gold lace pumps
I wouldn't wear navy or black

I bought 2 of that dress last year, and yes, I lived in them! I got one in dark pink and one in cream. I was hoping they'd do it again this year and am terribly annoyed they are out of stock. I sized up. They do wash well, but are looking a bit tired this year, however I did wear them at least once a week. So comfy and perfect for putting with leggings boots and big coat for last years outdoorsy social life. Not itchy, even though I'm sensitive to the wool itch.

Really @slipperyeel? I love a jumper dress so might give it a go!
