Can anyone recommend? Have a freezing house and 5 of us who need something really thick and fleecy. Dont really want to spend £80 each, seems absolutely extortionate, TIA

Kudd.ly

Bought 4 which worked out at £37 each. They are super warm !

TeeTotaller1 · 02/11/2021 15:44

Dunelm do hooded blankets for about £18

IntemperateSpirits · 02/11/2021 15:47

Primark have got a Christmas patterned one in, Amazon have got one for under £20.

crispsarny · 02/11/2021 15:48

Dunelm, just purchased, so warm, soft, comforting & great price.

crispsarny · 02/11/2021 15:58

Just to add I got one as I wanted to turn the thermostat down, I did this straight away, I was toasty in mine, very pleased. They are out of stock in adult sizes but they do come back in, I kept checking & bagged 2. Not sure if they have them in store?

GoingForAWalk · 02/11/2021 16:03

I saw some in Primark yesterday but only grey ones with something like PS4 written on the front.

GoingForAWalk · 02/11/2021 16:04

Not as wide as an Oodie or as plush.

GoingForAWalk · 02/11/2021 16:05

They were about £21

Nanasueathome · 02/11/2021 16:05

A family pack of 6 oodies works out just over £40 each
They often have special additional offers too

GoingForAWalk · 02/11/2021 16:06

Oodies are £50 when you get family packs etc

Capferret · 02/11/2021 16:10

I didn't know what an Oodie is.
Have just looked.

I think they're horrible.
Is there a more attractive alternative?

BeMoreHedgehog · 02/11/2021 16:12

Buy via Facebook page, it’s buy one get one free. The cheaper versions do NOT compare. They aren’t as warm/soft/fleecy and do not last very long.

I’m more than happy with my cheapo version @ £18, as soon as I put it on I felt instant warmth, it’s lovely & soft. I think the Dunelm ones look more tasteful than the Oodies with the tacky slogans all over them, also not everyone has £40-£50 to spend. Oodie wars lol Wink
BirdyBirdyTweetTweet · 02/11/2021 17:46

Primark £14.

Or I bought a Sienna version from Amazon £18.

MyDcAreMarvel · 02/11/2021 17:48

Kuddly or oldie are the only ones worth buying and the same price on current offers. The cheap ones are not comparable at all, fakes economy. Oodie do kids ones now too.

MyDcAreMarvel · 02/11/2021 17:48

Oodie not oldie Grin

nellienolan · 02/11/2021 17:53

None of them seem long enough to cover legs though. Don't they get cold?

nachocheese · 02/11/2021 18:30

My daughter and I have ones from here: houseofharman.co.uk/products/2021-pre-order-snuggly-hoody
Three different sizes and you can have a name printed on the front to personalise if you want.

StormyTeacups · 02/11/2021 20:42

I think the kuddly ones are a tad bigger

iwishiwasafish · 02/11/2021 20:50

We got these ones - £17 each from Online Home Shop last year and they are glorious

They are really lush and thick, knee-length and nicely oversized. Well made too.

Worth just searching for “hoodie” on the site as they have a few different ones, including some with prints or patterns like oodies.

I got an oodie later in the year and didn’t like it as much.

The dreamscene ones on Amazon are great and also wash really well x

MassiveHoard · 02/11/2021 20:55

Dunelm, they're very good value and much nicer than Oodies
