I have very long, thick hair. It was well past my shoulders pre-Covid and two years without a trim later, it's down to mid back level, halfway between bra strap and waistband. It's bright ginger, with natural highlights and only a strand or two of silver on my temples which nobody else can see.
It's nice hair, and I do like it, but it just.... hangs there.... looking a bit scruffy, a bit unkempt, a few split ends. I tend to wear it down, with a side parting, or in a long plait. It just feels boring!
I appreciate it's hard without a photo - but can anyone help - what should I do with it? Keep it? Cut it off? Go short? Dye it pink?

Have you got it layered? If there’s split ends I’d take it a bit sorter personally, no longer than bra straps level. Often looks a bit endy after that

Thick hair looks lovely when long in my opinion. Maybe you just need some layers for movement.

Keep it long, cut a blunt fringe? Would look awesome imo.
