Mascara for contact lens wearers

Can anybody recommend a non irritating mascara.
I always got my lashes tinted but nor have become allergic to the dye.

I've worn contact lenses for over 30yrs and just wear every day mascara. Normally cheap and cheerful, never had an issue. Currently splurged on Benefit but any brand is okay.

I just use any mascara tbh!

I use any but I do quite like the no7 tubing mascara in the gold tube.

It's not full on and is quite subtle but I like that you can just take it off with water.

Like above, I don’t buy anything special. As long as I put the contacts in before putting the mascara on, never have problems. (Need to do that anyway to see to put it on!). No 7 does one for sensitive eyes though that I do quite like.

Regular mascara for me.
Get some dry eye drops. It might be dryness rather than mascara

I use any waterproof mascara.

I put my contact lenses on before I put it on and take my lenses out before I remove it.

I wear contacts and can't wear regular mascara as I tend to blink a lot and it just ends up below my lower lid! I use a tubing mascara - Boots number 7 do one in the gold tube and it is great.

If you have really irritated eyes butterflies-eyecare is run by moorfields eye hospital and has some good make up options.

Same, countless decades, use whatever mascara I have. Although I have to put it on before I put in my lenses, otherwise I’m too long sighted to make use of my mirror.

I probably do avoid anything that actively boasts of containing flaky bits, but that’s not difficult.

Tubing mascara is your friend. I use the No7 one. Tubing mascaras work in a different way so there are no little fibres to flake off and irritate your lenses.

I met the sales lipstick plummeting and everyone is buying eye makeup.

I've been a contact lens wearer for 40 years. I use the Max Factor waterproof mascara in the gold tube. Doesn't flake or smudge.

I'm a contact lens wearer of 30+ years and I wear Boots No7 tubing mascara. I'm glad to see there's so many of us on this thread, hopefully this means it won't be discontinued any time soon!
