I just bought this dress last week and didn't try it on. I was drawn to the autumnal vibe, but I'm just not sure about it on me. Im 5ft4 and quite small framed and not sure if it drowns me.
Also, I'm not sure if it's even nice? And what sort of occasion to wear it for?
All advice v welcome, I really feel I am stuck in a jeans and jumper rut and don't know how to wear anything else anymore!

It’s not a look for me - I don’t think it’s even flattering on the model. And I don’t get trainers like that with a dress, I know everyone wears them but think it looks terrible! I think if you’re unsure it’s one to return, it won’t make you feel good.

I agreed that it doesn't even flatter the model. If you don't even know when and where you'd wear it, save your money and take it back!

Agree with pp

I love it and would absolutely wear it. I would style with jumper or cardigan or sleeveless jumper tank top thing, tights and boots. The only thing is I don't like viscose.

If you’re not sure, definitely return it.

The trainers look awful with that dress and are very unflattering on her leg. I’d wear with tights and flat ankle boots. From the photo the pattern does look a bit much, sometimes hard to tell on a screen though

I can see that being a bit 'drowny' on someone slight, though it would probably look nice on someone tall and statuesque.

I'm not mad keen on these midi-length shirt dresses that seem to be all the rage. I like dresses and I like patterns (and I like shirt dresses but can't wear them because my boob:waist ratio is wrong!) but i don't think that style suits all that many people.

Thanks everyone for your replies. You have confirmed my feelings on if. It's going back! It wasn't cheap so I will save money for something else...

I think it is too “roomy”. It looks as if even the model should go at least one size down.

I think the trainers work with it though. But l speak as someone who more or less lives in dresses but doesn’t do heels.

I like patterns in general but I think the dress is too big on the model, do it’s not very flattering. Not sure about the length either. I think it would be better longer, but if you’re shorter than the model, it could look better on you.
