This has been discontinued and the replacement seems to have mixed reviews. Can anyone recommend a nice cream cleanser (no gels/case washes please). Thanks!

I love Superdrug's vitamin e hot cloth cleanser. Huge tube, cheap and works beautifully. You'd never know it was cheap!! I usually use higher end skincare but always seem to come back to it.

Which one? The yellow tube? Nooooo, say it isn't so!
I tried the pink tube (sensitive) recently but it's not nearly as nice as the yellow.
Nobody needs to spend on cleanser I know - as Nadine Baggott says, it goes down the plughole in seconds, but if I'm using a "nice" one I tend to cleanse better Blush
I like the Superdrug vit E but it's nothing like the Clarins in terms of scent. Liz Earle C&P is probably the nearest, they have several different scent variations these days, but I always go back to original C&P even though they've changed the formulation and scent over the years.

I’ve been using, for the past year, this fragrant free cream cleanser from Paulas Choice: “Resist Anti-Aging Hydrating Cleanser” and I love it. It is more expensive than the good Superdrug one but I must say I do prefer it. Not sure how similar it would be to the Clarins Alpine cleanser though.
