Daily high SPF moisturiser

Can anyone recommend a daily moisturiser with a high (above 30) spf. I wear sun block in my face under moisturiser in the summer but it's and but and miss. I love good old niviea blue and even thought of just mixing some suncream in! But hate the feeling of stingy eyes. If I could find a good non stingy or white looking daily moisturiser with higher than 15 spf that would be great!

I use Clinique super city block 40SPF on top of my moisturiser, I’ve been using it (& before that the normal City block) for years. It’s a daily face protector. It feels nice, not greasy with a slight tint that evens out skin tone so I don’t often put foundation on top, just a dab of face powder. A tube lasts for ages.

Dermalogica age smart factor 50

Another vote for Clinique City Block 40 spf. Slight tint.
Have tried Elemis and some other moisturisers But I like city block the best.

I use Kiehls ultra light daily defence spf50 over my moisturiser. I still find it thicker than a moisturiser, but just needs a little bit of time to sink in. I think some use it as a moisturiser and spf.

Ultra Violette Clean Screen from Space NK was a gamechanger for me. I have oily skin and I can't feel it at all, it just feels like a light moisturiser. It's spf30.

I use Thank you Farmer SPF50.

Quite liking cerave spf 25 moisturiser at the moment. Ok it’s not super high but I believe reapplication is more important than a high factor. And anything above 30 has more chemicals for little extra protection. I have sensitive skin and can slather this on.
I also like Clinique city block spf 25 ( the spf 40 one has citrus extract which isn’t great for my sensitive skin) but it’s too expensive to slather on.

I use thank you farmer spf 50. My skin can be slightly oily and I hate the feeling of anything heavy on my skin - this is weightless and doesn’t look shiny. Very pleased with it. Reasonable price too.

asparalite · 30/10/2021 23:17

This one is amazing, I've been really pleased with it.

I have started using Paula's Choice Anti Age Skin Restoring Moisturiser phew . It does what it says on the tin - it is a moisturiser with SPF 50. It is a wee bit pricey, but I love it on my dry skin. I put it on in the morning and my skin drinks it in wonderfully. Although it is a white cream, it disappears (no trace) and dries without being tacky. It is cruelty free, too.

I am moved to share that I use 'La Roche-Posay Toleriane Teint Corrective Fluid Foundation' over it. It is SPF 25, and needs only a little bit and spreads like a dream. My ruddiness magically disappears.

I use this one, it's the best I've found and it's a mineral sunscreen so physical block. I apply it over moisturiser because I have dry skin. I had Melasma and I used this every day and it didn't come back over the summer.

Thanks for your replies. A few I have looked at. In the end I have stayed with my trusty nivea and ordered Nivea q10 power with spf 30. For £5 a tub I have slosh it on! If no good I may try the clinic one. Grin

I second the dermalogica one but it is pricey

Benjispruce5 · 31/10/2021 15:09

I use La Roche possay. 30spf plus my daily moisturiser as I’m on the dry side. No stingy eyes and it doesn’t interfere with make up either.

Benjispruce5 · 31/10/2021 15:11

It’s the anthelios one.

WrinklesShminkles · 31/10/2021 15:45

If you want a Nivea higher SPF moisturiser next time, the SPF50 Cellular Luminous one is excellent. Currently on offer in Boots.

Northernlass99 · 01/11/2021 11:27

Altruist dermatologist spf50. I have tried loads and this one is fantastic.

La Roche Possay smells too much like suntan lotion for me. Nivea sounds like a good option.
