40th birthday present

Big birthday is approaching and I haven't a clue what to ask for... family and friends asking for steers and I'm struggling...

I like very plain jewellery generally a classic style in clothes etc.

But I've been really skint for years and haven't dared dream....

Please help with ideas.... thanks

If you don't need anything why not ask for money or vouchers to go towards a fancy dinner or weekend away. Shit for shits sake surely is best avoided?

What about
a leather handbag?
A necklace made by a local artisan?
A cashmere jumper /cardigan?

Start looking around jewellery shops or on Etsy. Others have posted previously some lovely on line independent jewellery shops but I can’t remember them.
It’s ok to ask for vouchers.
What about spa experience?
Look on buy a gift?
