Luxury Non White Bedding?

SwimmingWithTheFishes · 29/10/2021 20:47

Help me please!

I'm looking for high thread count (600+) bedding. Everywhere I've looked its mostly white or light grey.

I'm looking for some more interesting patterns and colours and really struggling.

I'm not keen on French Linen as find it a bit stiff

Can anyone recommend or find me some luxury quality bedding that isn't mostly white?

Ideally not the ridiculously priced £300 ones I saw on here the other day!

Thanks

I get my bedding from here.

All mine is relaxed cotton from Bedfolk

Why is high thread count only available in plain?

Could you get a white bedding and cover with a patterned throw/bedspread?

Swimmingwiththefishes · 30/10/2021 17:30

Thanks so much for all the suggestions

I'm still really struggling!

My issue is that we have a toddler and a big brown dog-both of which come onto the bed in the mornings. So after one morning with the pure white high thread count sheets they are covering in hair and toddler grime!

I'm wanting to change to something highly patterned or darker colours but most things above 600 thread count are white or light grey.

I could use a bedspread over the top but our room is already on the warm side so want to avoid layers

Wallace Cottons

It’s a kiwi brand that opened over year a couple of years ago and their bedding is HEAVEN

Lots of modern floral prints if that’s your thing, and around £150-200 for a king size set in the higher thread counts

Can you not just use a 600tc flat top sheet underneath the duvet for the feel of it on skin with matching fitted sheet beneath and pillows in white and then contrast it with colourful bedding of lower tc? Zara Home does some decent 300tc colour selection bedding that doesn't cost the earth.

I also get mine from The Secret Linen Store linked to upthread. Lots of 600 thread count, non-white linen there.

I used to buy Zara bedding, quality has declined in the last couple of years.

West Elm bedding is also good quality.
