Hypoallergenic make up. Clinique?

Hello lovely MNs

I have very sensitive skin and I have not been able to find eyeshadow or eyeliner (liquid/pencil) that doesn't cause my eyes to blow up and look puffy the next day.
Currently I look like I've been punched or crying all day because I wore eyeshadow yesterday.

I was wondering if Clinique is worth it? They brand themselves as hypoallergenic.
Does anyone have any suggestions on make up that is kind to your skin/eyes?

You could always ask at the makeup counter if they would put some on you so you could try it? Not sure if they are all doing that yet though.

Failing that, Clinique often do gifts with purchase and people regularly sell these on eBay so you could pick a little palette up, or single shade, quite cheaply.

Clinique works for me and is one of the few I can use.
Most beauty counters can give out samples but haven’t recently been able to do make overs

It is a bit pricey compared to other brands but it would be surprising if you did have a reaction

You definitely need to stay away from anything perfumed but there’s hypoallergenic actually means nothing it’s a marketing ploy

You need to find out what ingredient(s) are causing you irritation

La Roche posay actually do an eyeliner or go to a brand that leaves out irritants such as Pur.
