Any good ?

I haven't got any but they look gorgeous! But expensive for me but maybe for Christmas!

PanicBuyingSprouts · 28/10/2021 20:38

I've bought as gifts for a DF who suffers with the cold and she seems to really like them. I've heard her recommend them to others so I'm guessing she likes them anyway.

Plus she's super fussy Grin

Flockameanie · 28/10/2021 20:38

Yup! They really do help keep your hands warmer than other fingerless gloves (I use them for working at home and I get cold). I did the lucky dip thing and sort of wished I just paid more for a colour I liked as Sod’s law meant I got the one colour I really don’t like (pale pink). But I only wear them at home so it doesn’t really matter…

mdinbc · 28/10/2021 20:40

What are they, other than birds?

PanicBuyingSprouts · 28/10/2021 20:51

@mdinbc they're here Smile

DaxtheDestroyer · 28/10/2021 20:53

I got some last winter to help with working from -freezing- home. I did lucky dip too, and got grey. They are lovely and warm and I like that they are recycled. Definitely worth it for a treat

My cousin was wearing a short, shawl collar, swing, patchwork cardigan front TD yesterday and looked great. She said it was £70 which seems very good compared with other cashmere. I have fingerless gloves - great - and a clever wide loop scarf that can be worn over the shoulders, in autumn shades. I think the garments work so well because of the care they take with matching weights and combining colours. I had one pair of gloves that were more child-sized but customer services were very good in sending out a replacement immediately.

Tallisimo · 28/10/2021 22:22

I was given the wrist warmers as a birthday gift and they’re lovely. Very light, soft and warm, and they are great at keeping my hands warm when I’m working from home during the day.

TottiePlantagenet · 28/10/2021 22:49

Bought the fingerless gloves for myself & DH last winter when working from home, they were a godsend. Lovely and soft, kept our have warm.

SpeckledyHen · 29/10/2021 06:35

Thanks for all the positive replies. That’s this years presents sorted 🎄

I have more pairs of these than I should admit to 😂 I love them

MyNewAdventures · 29/10/2021 07:05

I wonder if I just got unlucky with mine?

They were beautifully soft and lovely when I had them, but by only maybe 4th/5th time wearing them, they had bobbled dreadfully. They very quickly went to something I'd wear for practical reasons but always try to hide because they look so scruffy.

I'd love to find a similar thing but maybe a different fabric, like maybe a cotton/jersey blend.

littleburn · 29/10/2021 07:40

I love mine - so warm and soft! @MyNewAdventures have you tried using a cashmere comb on them? Cashmere does tend to bobble and I think with gloves even more so because there's more friction with handling things etc.

I have some from Hush although I think they only do cashmere ones now. Shame, because they were the best I’ve had
NiceTwin · 29/10/2021 07:49

I bought the bed socks for my dm after having a discussion about cold feet.
She loves them because they are long and easy to put on (she's not as bendy as she used to be).

malovitt · 29/10/2021 10:23

I have loads of pairs, love them.

I also got a free pair by sending them a no-longer-wanted cashmere cardigan which had a couple of tiny holes in. Happy it was put to good use!

Ooh - you've given me an idea that this might be just the thing for after my winter sea swims when I need to get something warm on my feet sharpish
MyNewAdventures · 29/10/2021 12:39

@littleburn tbh I don't think there would be much of the glove left if I combed them! 🙈

Blondiney · 29/10/2021 18:15

They make nice presents.

iNeedAteaPlease · 29/10/2021 18:18

Yes, after lusting after them for a while I got one of their lucky dips. Absolutely fantastic.

iNeedAteaPlease · 29/10/2021 18:20

When you do the lucky dip you can choose the broad colour you want (eg blue, red) and they will select the shade.

Bideshi · 29/10/2021 18:22

I have Raynaud's. They help a lot.

If they bobble (and cashmere always does) get a cashmere comb.

Sheldock · 29/10/2021 18:23

I have several pairs that I wear almost constantly due to Reynards . Better than any other similar fingerless gloves I've tried.

cortex10 · 29/10/2021 18:35

I've got two pairs of the wrist warmers - and run out of people to buy them for presents. They were great when I did a lot of commuting by train pre-COVID and needed my fingers free for tickets and phone on frosty mornings.

RavenAtTheWindow · 29/10/2021 20:17

I have some and I love them. If you have small hands I would recommend the "slender" ones for a better fit.
