Comfiest, easy to remove sports bra?

Am in dire need of a sports bra- I have gone back to spinning and strength training. I have managed to get to the ripe old age of 44 without actually owning one. I hate things up high close to my neck and I also don't want to do another workout trying to get one off after spinning. Any ideas please?

I use one that fastens at the back like a normal bra. It's the panache ultimate underwired one

mydogsaDoodle · 27/10/2021 20:52

I rate Sweaty Betty front zip sports bras.

Runderwear Easy on sports bra. Super supportive, but very comfortable and no struggling with them

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 27/10/2021 21:01

I really like this one by Anita. It's front fastening and the shoulder straps are velcro and can be adjusted from the front when the bra is already on. I have gone up a band size and down a cup size compared to my regular underwired bra (38E in Empreinte underwired and 40D in Anita).

Just place marking as I may have got stuck in a sweaty sports bra and red help from DH recently Grin

Runderwear has a weird size guide. How does it compare to your normal bra size @CMOTDibbler?

I got stuck in an Enell bra once, I have poor shoulder mobility and I just couldn't articulate my shoulder to let it slip down my arm. Blush The Anita one that I linked to is impossible to get stuck in as it's front fastening and you can completely release the velcro shoulder straps, so it can be removed without even taking my t-shirt off.

That Anita one hasn't got an option in my size
Boobydoo website has a wide selection of sports bras

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 27/10/2021 21:10

Ample Bosom has that Anita bra in 36D, only in black or white though. www.amplebosom.com/product/anita-active-front-fastening-sports-bra-610/#36d

Oh, sorry dementedpixie, I thought you were the OP. What size are you?

OverByYer · 27/10/2021 21:12

I’m a 32e and a runner. I have worn shock absorber run bra for over a decade. Not one but several over the years. Swear by it

CMOTDibbler · 27/10/2021 21:13

@dementedpixie I wear my normal size in Runderwear

36GG I usually wear panache ultimate underwired but am open to other good options

Their size guide was saying 40GG (I put in 36 as my back size) but I usually wear 36GG

I couldn't get the sizing right when I tried them
BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 27/10/2021 21:19

They only seem to go up to an E cup in the bra that I like.

There are a couple of other Anita ones that go up to larger cup sizes, but I haven't tried them so can't recommend them.

Falke zip front one.

I also find a boobandy handy.
