Hair Straightener Recommendations P

My trusty Corioliss straighteners are started to give up, can anyone send me recommendations? I'm thinking GHDs but not sure if they're as good as they once were?

I recently changed from my old GHD, which died after over 10 years, to a Steam Pod - it is amazing, my hair is thick and wavy, this gets it lovely and smooth in half the time the ghd did and it looks so healthy. It’s more expensive but so far I’m delighted with it.

Another vote for Steam Pod. I have fine, coloured hair with a tendency towards dryness. I wanted a styling tool to smooth my hair but also create gentle waves but I was worried about using a regular straightener in case it made it more dry & brittle. However, I find my hair actually feels and behaves much better since using it. I am totally inept with hair styling gadgets but this is simple & effective.
