As comfy as skechers but slightly more stylish.

Having a few foot issues which means I'm struggling with footwear. Strangely enough the only shoes that are really comfy are sketcher go walk slip ons. The trainer style don't work for me. I know looks aren't everything but I would love something different for a change. Things I've tried that don't work are Fitflops, Vionic and new balance. I think I need the memory foam footed, if anyone has seen anything similar but different I woukd appreciate it.

For lightweight walking Ecco do great boots and stylish too.

For a bit of glam Esska do shoes and boots that are comfortable and I love them. Lots of metallics at the moment on their site and they do great sales.

There is a German brand of comfortable but cool shoes but I can’t recall name? My mum has some gorgeous suede trainers I covet.

Girlwhowearsglasses · 28/10/2021 08:05

The German brand is Reiker- they have memory foam soles

Also have you tried oofo's? Possibly no more attractive than sketchers but they do a boot (I found came up small for the boot but the flip flops are big?!). Not a walking boot though and a bit orthopaedic looking.

Imtoooldforallthis · 28/10/2021 10:24

I've got oofos Fitflops, definately want to be away from the orthopaedic look, to young to wear them, and too old to rock the geek look.

Fit Flops. Vast range of styles and the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.

beguilingeyes · 28/10/2021 11:30

Oops, just seen you've excluded them. Sorry, my bad.

Orpheline · 28/10/2021 11:38

Apparently, since Squidgame, Skechers are the 'must-haves' Smile

I have the Mary Jane version of these, really comfortable they come in different colours but this is my favourite www.pavers.co.uk/products/wide-fit-slip-on-trainers-brk2301-306-918?variant=39578174488661

I bought Hotter Ridge GTX walking boots in the spring, I have massive feet and they are great, waterproof, light and generously wide. On sale atm!

Mustreadabook · 28/10/2021 18:02

Cosy feet have lots of styles for most foot conditions. Some are deffo granny shoes but some younger looking ones in the mix

Ulysses · 28/10/2021 22:25

I’ve got WearAllDays and you really can. Came back from London walking 10+miles a day and my legs hurt but my feet didn’t. I’m a 6.5 and they fit perfectly.

bpirockin · 29/10/2021 03:20

I second the Strive footwear suggestion.

malificent7 · 29/10/2021 06:27

Sketchers are very "in" atm..i think they are stylish.

CJsGoldfish · 29/10/2021 06:50

I've got Skechers boots and I LOVE them. They look like normal boots but so very comfy.

Barney60 · 29/10/2021 10:48

Like you i LOVE sketchers i have loads, sandals boots slip ons ect NOTHING comfier for my feet. I have little narrow feet but wide toes! M&S seem to be on such a narrow foot base with narrow toe areas even in round toe styles, (recently found out its a wide toe box area i need) Heavenly feet are as comfy. What i do is take out the sole from a pair of Sketchers and move them to other shoes/boots. Works for me.

Armadiloes · 29/10/2021 18:10

TOMS alpargata - I used to wear my go walks all the time until I purchased a pair of these, absolute bliss on my feet and dare I say a little better than my go walks. Loads of designs to choose from, sales prices are good. They do take a bit of time to get delivered if you order direct from the site but they always have the best deals.

Bec21 · 01/11/2021 14:34

FitFlop all the way!

GoingForAWalk · 02/11/2021 05:40

I often buy memory foam insoles and various other types so I can wear my favourite shoes and boots in more comfort. That said Clark's always make their shoes and boots for comfort and have vast ranges so start there.
