Comfiest, liftiest bras

I need recommendations for comfy bras that give a nice lift. I struggle with underwires or shaped/padded cups. I love the “bed” bras which are essentially an elasticated crop top but I can’t wear them out and about because they don’t give much shape or lift as my boobs are around a D cup but have been slightly depleted by breastfeeding!

Has anyone found a lovely, comfortable bra that gives a nice lift and shape?

Are you me?! I have the same issue! Help, please, anyone!

JohnnyMcGrathSaysFuckOff · 25/10/2021 21:31

I have started using Marks basic "full bosom" bras which are comfy but don't give great shape, so following!

If you want your boobs lifting a plunge bra is best ,or a balcony

i find this one both lifty and comfy (34 F)

Yes!

We essentially need a bralette that lifts things.

I have this... it is definitely lifty but not so comfy. Speaking as someone who also loves bed bras (sloggi zero feel being the best thing ever)... and whos boobs are more than a little depleted by breastfeeding (read empty sacks of sadness).

I am really loving the Molke bras. They are like a crop top but lots of lift and a nice shape. Lots of different patterns as well!

Another vote for Molke!

The total full cup support non wired non padded m and s bras ( starting at DD) are amazingly uplifting. Although very very old ladyish. I don’t mind though as I am 65! Just about given up on uncomfortable wires. These really give a good shape. I did have to go down a band size though, I was in 36dd m be and s underwired and now wearing 34 dd.

Zwerty · 25/10/2021 21:57

Thanks @AshGirl and @Myneighboursnorlax the Molke ones look like the bras I have been dreaming of!! Not a wire in sight 🥰

You're very welcome! I've got about half a dozen of their bras now and 2 tankini swimming suits.

I have the Power Bra set with the pants which makes me feel like Wonder Woman!

Weirdly, the only thing that annoys me slightly about them is they take a while to dry after washing as the material is quite thick

I can’t get along with M&S bras. They would always become uncomfortable after a short time of wearing. I used to favour Triumph, but recently I have discovered Wacoal and they really suit my shape and are so comfortable. I think different brands/styles suit different women and we each have to find our own.

AnnieSnap · 25/10/2021 22:23

I’m also a D cup and need a underwire. Wacoal ones always feel comfortable, like the wire isn’t there.

AnnieSnap · 25/10/2021 22:26

Oh yes (I wish we could edit our messages), Miss Mary of Sweden do excellent non-wired, uplifting bras, but they have unattractive wide straps, so I’m so glad to have found Wacoal.

Knittingnanny · 25/10/2021 22:27

I’ve never heard of wacoal bras, I’m off to google them

They look good @BernardBlackMissesLangCleg. Do they give a good shape?

DelphiniumBlue · 26/10/2021 23:31

So on your recommendations, I'm looking at Molke bras. Can anyone comment on the difference between the Original and the Flexi-fit in terms of comfort and support? I'm feeling I need more uplifting than I am getting with my current crop top type bras - am coming in at XL Cosmic in Molke.

The originals are much more supportive, whereas the flexi ones are softer and more comfortable (although the originals are comfortable too). The originals are famously tricky to get on the first time though, so make sure to read/watch the tips, haha.

Thank you Myneighboursnorlax, that's really helpful.

MrsSchadenfreude · 27/10/2021 18:59

Molke bras are not a thing of beauty, are they?

Toodlydoo · 27/10/2021 19:12

Victorias secrets, they are moulded but not stiff and oh so comfy
