Postpartum trousers (comfy but not joggers!)

I had a baby 5 weeks ago and my maternity trousers are too baggy and I don’t want to wear them anymore. I don’t yet fit into my old trousers and looking for half decent looking comfy trousers (not jeans, ideally black or dark colours). I am on maternity leave until at least spring so just need them for meeting friends/baby classes etc

Any suggestions where to even look? Looking online I got so overwhelmed and have no idea where to start. Can’t browse in shops for ages as have a newborn…
I am a size 16 still 😳

M&S has some pull-on straight-leg trousers. Very comfy.
Fine with a nice jumper and trendy trainers? They won't break the bank and are fairly inoffensive.
Congrats on the baby!

I bought a few pairs of high waisted leggings from matalan. They're only about £6 each. They're not the best quality but they're comfy and suck in the postpartum belly that I want to hide!

Would you consider dungarees? Very comfy on your tummy

I have just bought some yoga trousers, from Amazon. I already had them in navy. They are so comfortable, butter soft, and kind of like a bootcut style.
Look on there they have lots of different styles.

I have a 7mo and I often wear this type of drawstring trousers with a T-shirt tucked in:

They’re comfy but not scruffy and good for getting up and down off the floor at baby groups etc!
Sorry for the massive long links.
